Carl E. Balita started in the review industry in 1993. He handled Medical Surgical Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing among some top review centers at that time. He was also faculty of the Graduate School and College of Nursing of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila where he also served various academic and administrative positions over a period of six years. Carl Balita is a graduate of BS Nursing at University of Santo Tomas and Master of Arts in Nursing at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. He was conferred Doctor of Humanities (Honoris Causa) by the authority of the Commission on Higher Education to Lorma Colleges. In 2005, he franchised the St Louis Review Center and became the Review Director for Luzon .
In a span of two years, he evolved the St Louis Review Center as one of the biggest and respected review centers in Luzon , trusted by some top universities and colleges of nursing. His book Ultimate Learning Guide to Nursing Review became a national bestseller, and has been evaluated and commended by board topnotchers and reputable nurse educators.
