The Director of the Staff Development Program is specifically designed to prepare licensed nurses for duties as the Director of Staff Development in a Skilled Nursing Facility or as an instructor in a precertification programs for certified nursing assistants (CNAs). (Some states refer to Director of Staff Development as Staff Development Coordinator).
